Business magazine CEO and former presidential candidate Steve Forbes calls himself the ‘Agitator’ however in real life he is a very nice guy.
One of my long time clients, The Nevada Policy Research Institute, held their annual dinner at The Venetian on Thursday and of course I was there to capture the whole event. From the exclusive book signing to the keynote speech from Steve Forbes.
Some of his predictions include…
Republicans will gain control of the Senate and House of Representatives in the November elections.
Another prediction is politicians in financially strapped states such as California, New York and New Jersey will seek state government bailouts after the election, but he predicted Congress will reject the pleas for help.
And he also predicted that the country would go to a “gold standard,” in which gold backs the value of currency, within five years.
Select guests at the event got a signed copy of his recent book “How Capitalism Will Save Us” By Steve Forbes and Elizabeth Ames.
And all the VIP guests received a photo with Mr. Forbes.
I really enjoyed hanging out with Mr. Forbes for evening, he is one of the most business savvy people I have met.
Asked whether he would run for president again, Steve said, “My role is agitator”
