The elephant seal and the half crazed banana!
Sometimes strange things happen in my life, maybe that’s why some people don’t quite understand me. For one thing, I believe people should slow down and enjoy life, for two, people should have a sense of humor. Even if it is a strange one like mine is…
So anyways… I have this banana that likes to follow me around sometimes when I am traveling and likes to get me in trouble. Not sure why I put up with it however sometimes the banana has a good idea for a shot, and we all know that making the banana angry is not the best thing to do. One must always, Obey the Banana!
Here is a perfect example of the trouble a traveling banana can cause. They say let sleeping dogs lie, I would suggest this should also cover sleeping elephant seals.
What was supposed to be a simple snapshot of a sleeping elephant seal turned into a little more due to this evil banana that had other thoughts, just look at that expression, he is thinking evil thoughts!
His idea of fun was to go over and wake up the sleeping seal.
At first the seal was a little mad about being woke up, that soon turned to confusion as the seal attempting to figure out why this little yellow creature was doing standing on her tail, I have no idea how to tell a girl seal from a boy seal. However after introductions they seemed to get along fine.
Of course after watching this bonding of a seal and a banana which by the way is against all laws of nature, I just had to ask them both to pose for a quick snapshot since no one would believe this story without pictures. ok, on three everyone, 1, 2, Smile, 3 Awwwww
Always remember… Obey the Banana!
